Penalty sheet (Bad news)

This is the penalty sheet that children in middle school will have to copy following the instructions and given back to me next class.

I do not ask or rather give this "consequence" lightly, it was given to your child in the last level of my patience and with minimum three warnings (this is one...1 2 3 system).

Thank you parents for your support.

PENALTY SHEET FOR SPANISH CLASS

You are required to hand-write, legibly a copy of this penalty sheet, have it signed by a parent and return it to Señora Salazar by the following class (at river campus at the office or class, or I will receive a call to learn of your delivery).

Begin with your name and the date the penalty was given. State whether this is your first, second or third penalty sheet. ( With three penalties, you are out of my class until your parent (s)/ guardian come to talk to me in person and arrange for one of your parents or representative to come and stay to one of my classes to observe you).
Second, describe the situation and the course of events that resulted in your being given a penalty sheet.
Third, explain what you will do differently so that this does not occur again.
Fourth, copy the rest of these page and make sure your parent or guardian signs your copy.

In the Tucson Waldorf School we have a Code of conduct. This Code strongly reflects:

• The students’ right to an education.
• The faculty’s commitment to providing a quality education to the students.
I am expecting and encouraging students to model self-discipline, disruptive behavior results and interferes with the teaching or learning process within the classroom.

Code of Conduct
• All students have the right to learn. No one needs to be disruptive to others.
• No student has the right to interfere with any other student’s learning or with a faculty member’s teaching program.
• All teachers and students have the right to be treated courteously and respectfully and are fully responsible for their own actions.

Spanish Class Expectations:

• Be timely prepared and ready for the start of lessons. This includes Spanish book, dictionary (from 6 to 8 grades), pen, pencils, color pencils.

• Keep your desk-top only with the Spanish book, dictionary (grades 6 through 8), pen, or pencils, color pencils. Unless Señora Salazar gives you permission to work on other things such as your craft project, you may only concentrate in your Spanish work. Things that do not belong in Spanish class will be confiscated. Some might be giving back; others not.

• Ask permission to move about the classroom if you need a tissue paper or water or need to go to the bathroom (this of course in Spanish).

• Spanish notebooks, dictionary or any materials given to you by Señora Salazar that are intentionally mistreated, broken, or deliberately hidden will be replaced by the student.

• No gum in class.

• No food during class (unless in a special event).

• It is courteous to have teacher permission if your action will affect others, for example, talking, playing with objects, passing notes, and walking around as the teacher is teaching.

• NO PROFANITIES, name calling, or other disrespectful behavior. Also, avoid any resemblances of vulgarities using other words; if I hear it you will be given a penalty sheet.
